Ouaisné
Bay is really part of the arc of St Brelades, but is separated by the rocky
outcrop of Le Grouin. The bay can be accessed from St Brelades at low water, but
the sand is covered at High Water; however a stepped footpath leads you into
Ouaisné Bay German defences ar much in evudence; a sandstone all
is built against the inland edge of the beach. Earlier centuries saw mire
nefarious activities, born witness in the pub set above the slipway, The 'Smugglers' Inn'. St the southern end of
the bay are striking rock outcrops.
